I don't like him just from your description. If he stood you up without a good reason that means he doesn't care about you, period. It sounds like he's using you or playing you in order to get whatever it is that he wants. If you can go for a while without talking to him and he isn't reaching out to talk to you, then he isn't worth it. If you left him a couple summers back, even if you can't remember the reason, there was a reason, and something isn't how it should be.

Okay, I came from a family with people who were so good to me that I never was abused or anything and neither was my sister. My uncle that I am going to mention in this story is the same uncle that was like a dad to us, that we spent the night with (him and my aunt) sleeping between them, and he treated us like his own kids. Okay, keep in mind my uncle isn't a perv and my child also told us today after peeing on himself that my grandma peed on him. lol (He is potty training). How do other adults feel about being in braces?

Here's the thing. I had braces as a youngster, but some of my teeth have moved back, and it's creating abnormal wearing surfaces. I really want to take care of my teeth and don't want to end up like my father when I'm 50 who should freaking have dentures, but doesnt take care of himself to get them. hello i would like some advice on a topic please. i am 38 yrs oa and i have six beautiful children and a lovely wife. i moved away from home los angeles to texas a little over ten years ago. the move was not to difficult for me but when i left home i felt a great sense of relief to get from under the crazyness from my family (mom) whom i love to death, but could be very mean and wicked at the same time. my bio-father whom did not raise me always had a problem with him showing me that he loved me for me. it was difficult to shake his critizism off.he illustraded great contempt torwards my step father who still in the position of my dad. well i staarted having children and my bio father cut off all dealings with me for over a long period of time for naming one of my sons after my step dad. i did that out of the upmost respect to the man that had always been there for me. i admit i am sometimes to emotional but iv'e learned to accept that due to the fact god made me that way for a reason so i embrace it now. now my bio father want to send me holiday cards but i have a problem with accepting that as an apology perhaps im wanting to much...a sincere son i'm sorry for my bad behavior would be great. but he vowed he would say those words to me.

What does fresh blood in stool look like?

I know from the title this sounds like a silly question. But I have seen parts of my stool (solid stool, not diarhea) look red. Not the whole thing, not in one particular place, and I didn't see a pattern. The red portion wasn't any more liquid or solid than the rest of the stool. The water didn't change color to red. Fondant lettering mess up!! Help!?

The drivers are all legal ofcoarse, they have to speak english well, so as to talk with customers. But the car preps are almost completly illegal. Which is 8:00 an hour, but the immigrant makes only 5 to 6 dollars, his "coyote" takes a large chunk. What I am not too sure about is the social security number, to make it look official, I think the social security # they use is that of the coyote's or his family. We all know they are illegal, but we just don't mention it. The belief is that this "labor firm" would take the fall (if there ever was one) since they guranteed a "legal worker". I can't believe what we do at times, and how the company gets away with it. I feel bad for the poor bastards, they work like slaves, and they barely make enough to live. Not only that, but they haven't a clue, they believe that one day, they will become legal, that another amnesty will take place, or that by remaining here as long as possible, it will somehow help their migratory status. And I ask them, how long do you plan to work? What about if you get sick? What about retirement? And they understand they can't get those benefits here. Or even back in their home country, ecause they don't pay taxes here or there. They understand these things, but somehow that reality doesn't register. I sometimes think about how a Union here would be imposible, or about how my brother can't find a part time like the one they got, and yes; ICE does come to mind. But, I don't want that **** on my conciouse. So its clear to me now that to solve immigration, you have to go to the root of the problem. The employers.

My hamster is small for her age?

Ok so i got a hamster and it had 5 babies and ate 3 (same old same old hamsters eat their babies). So i have the mother hamster (snooki) and the two baby hamsters (cookie wich is my sisters and franny wich is mine.) The babies are about 9 months old (september 1st). Cookie is about the size of snooki. But franny is small. Like smaller than cookie. About the size of a 5 month old hamster. She has an exercize wheel food water and plenty of toys. Guilt and Anger - my dog died after getting neutered?

My dog was 12 yrs old. I brought him in to get him groomed(which is attached to vets)before I collected him they asked me to go in and see the vet. She said he was in pain and 'had' to have the operation to get neutered. He had lumps around his anus which bled sometimes or he scraped his bum along the ground. I knew that sometimes he was in pain and this was on my mind to bring him in. When she said this the lump in my throat. But I felt she was the vet and she knew best. So I said id think it over. Thing is I asked all my family n they were not really interested(family split up) although my dad said to leave him, but dad was sometimes old school mean so didnt really listen to him. I decided to go with it, they assured me they'd be watching him the whole time on a drip giving him oxygen etc..this didnt happen...My instingt told me he wasnt able for such an op, wasnt being walked enough and too old, however i felt id no1 to ask and felt silly asking people not everyone values animals(how v silly of me and this makes me so mad with myself) the night before the op i still wasnt sure - i told dad he was gonna decide when he came home from the pub - but unfortuately my brother turned up drunk banging on the door - he wasnt allowed in the house as he was too abusive etc..he wrapped on the door for hours until eventually we had to let him in - there was a row, my dog went into my bed for safety and peace - he trusted me. the next morning after v little sleep - i ordered my brother to bring the dog in for his app with the vet. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. WHY DID THE VET HAVE TO REMOVE HIS TESTICLES SHOULD SHE NOT HAVE KNOW HE WAS TOO OLD FOR THIS! I still have my period but I think I could be pregnant?

I have a 13 month old so I feel silly for even asking, my daughter's dad's girlfriend is pregnant and last time I was over there he said me and her were both moody. He added that I had put on weight. I talk to his girlfriend all the time and she asked me what I was eating and I told her pasta noodles with squash and salsa. She asked if I was sure I wasn't pregnant. I'm pretty sure I'm not, my boyfriend is in jail and has been for 4 months so I would be at least 4 months along. Unemployment benefits are being contested?

I was working as a contract security guard for a hotel for 5 years. During that 5 years the contract company was changed three times and only because I was such a reliable employee I was given the opportunity all three times to be switched over or "grandfathered" over as they called it to the new contract company with no breaks in my on going employment with the hotel while most of the guys from these ousted contract companies were let go and a host of new guys from the new contract company were brought in to replace them. Because of that with the exception of the first contract company which hired me directly and sent me to the hotel as my permanent site in the first place, I had little to no dealings whatsoever with the other two contract companies. I was always advised by the director of security at the hotel to bring all issues to him and he will deal with the contract company on my behalf and that went for everything from work schedules and hrs to problems with my pay check . In September, September 18th to be exact I had to take an unfortunate unpaid leave of absence do to a family oriented issue. Before I left I clarified with my boss at the hotel that I needed a short leave of absence to deal with my issue and that I was planning to return as soon as possible and continue working at the hotel. My boss was very understanding and okay'ed it and not only promised me my job back when I returned but also told me that I was his choice to be the security manager for a new hotel that they were opening in February of 2011. My boss at the hotel also made sure that the news was passed on to the contract manger at the contract company and they didn't refute it and said OK. I contacted my boss at the hotel via e-mail about a month and a half later to let him know that things were looking much better for me and that I was ready to return to work in the coming weeks. My boss wrote back the next day that he was very happy to hear from me and that he was waiting with open arms to accept me back at the hotel and ultimately send me to the new hotel when it finally opens. I was happy and told him that I would reach out to him as soon as I return to the area and we would take it from there. When I returned about 3 weeks later before I could even reach out to him I received another e-mail from him stating that he was very sorry but the jobs he promised me both at the hotel and the new hotel opening in February was no longer open due to massive layoffs within the company and that he will do all he can to try and get me placed somewhere else with the contract company. I said OK and told him that I understand and agreed with the idea of him working along with the contract company to get me placed elsewhere. He than sent me a e-mail back two days later saying that he spoke with the contract companies manager and that he said it shouldn't be a problem but neither of them can promise anything but I should just wait it out and stay in touch. I did just that and waited around for a couple of weeks only to hear nothing from my boss or the contract company. At that point I decided to file for unemployment due to my bills and everyday living expenses mounting up and me having no way to pay for anything. I was processed and ultimately approved for unemployment and started to receive checks. About two or three checks in I received a call from a unemployment rep asking for some clarification of my case because my claim was being contested by the contract company. I explained my story to the rep and was told to continue to claim for my weekly benefits while they investigate. About three weeks later I begin to receive benefits again and everything was fine until two days ago when I received a letter from the unemployment court asking me to report to court for a hearing on April 15th because the contract company is still contesting the reason why I left and don't think I'm entitled to benefits. Do I have a strong case or will they more than likely win? And this is happening in New York City and I do have copies of all the emails that were sent between me and my boss at the hotel basically promising me my job back and than later saying that due to layoffs he could not hire me back.

Fear of the dentist?!?!?

This might sound silly but I'm horrified of the dentist. When I was little i LOVED the dentist but than I got cavities I think that's how you spell it and they didn't give me the shot to numb my mouth and the dentist messed up and poked me with something and my tongue bled. This is a very strange bike. Squealing car - thoughts?

I drive a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with about 30,000 miles on it. I've taken good care of it, changed the oil 4 times a year (I live in Minnesota) etc. Every now and then, and more often lately, I hear a terrible metallic squealing sound when my foot is on the gas, regardless of speed, that stops instantly when I take my foot off the gas. After a few minutes it stops, then the car smells of smoke for another minute or so. Then nothing for months. It's probably happened 5 times since I owned the car. It never happens when I'm at the dealer, amazingly enough, and they can't see anything wrong. I think it's probably some sort of bearing burning out or something but don't know how serious this is. Should I be worried? It otherwise runs perfectly.

Heels hurt, pantyhose burn you up and slips usually aren't necessary because dresses usually have several layers, but it's whatever makes you feel like a queen for that night.

New marking on skin, not sure what it is?

Hi everyone. I have not told anyone yet as I recently realized this but about a month ago I saw these three large pale freckle looking things on my neck. I just realized they are still there, I'm kind of worried. I tried to wash them off and scratch them off (I know thats silly but I didnt know what to do lol). I felt them and they feel SLIGHTLY different then the rest of my skin. They look like a large very light colored freckle. I was wondering what this could possibly be? I'm not sure what skin cancer looks like, I thought it only showed in freckles and moles, not make new skin markings. Could it be skin cancer? Or maybe liver spots, that older people (like around the 80's) usually get?? Do liver spots come from liver failure? Is that possible for a 20 year old? I need to know a safe drug for my 8 year old daughter for anxiety?

I know all medications have their problems and side effects. My daughter has been on Focalin for 4 months and now I am being pressured by her school that she no longer is ADHD, but has Anxiety and her doctor that is associated with the school wants her to go on Abilify. I have seen SOME really major bad things online about that drug. It for one has not been tested much on children. When I expressed my concerns they just keep telling me to go and call the doctor and get her started on Abilify ASAP! They do not care. I told them I read some BAD stuff about the drug and the school told me to not look ANYTHING up online, because the people online will just say bad things about the drug. I have to disagree.. since these people making up reports have USED it and know the effects. ALSO, the drugs website has many of the bad things listed and not to use it if diabetes runs in the family..again I expressed this and was told, that she would be tested every now and again and I need to get the medicine done today and call my Dr. ASAP! I can not in GOOD faith put her on this. So, I suppose IF she must be on a drug for anxiety.. I need to know one that has the least amount of side effects. my bf got me a one pack test, with the lines. We opened it, and I tried peeing on it but I didn't have to pee so we snaped the cap back on. We waited til yesterday used the same test, & I peed like a drop on it not even 3 sec, just a drop. Then only a faint line that indicated neg was on it. But I didn't hold it correctly while doing the test. Then later that night I used the same test & peed a lot on it, & the neg line showed up bold & easy to read. But since we used the same test 3 times is it inacurrate or a false neg. So we tampered with it so much. & there was only one in the pack. I have all the pregnancy symptoms, along with breast changes, morning sickness, horrible headaches, backaches, lower abdominal/pubic cramping, it's been probably 8 weeks to 10. I have had the implant for about a year now, and never had any problems. I have a new partner and we have been sexually active every night for about a month now. I have had a period since we first had intercourse but it was different than usual- a lot heavier bleeding but no period pain as usual. During the past couple of weeks I have felt very sick, headaches, constipated, 'metallic taste' in my mouth, cramping in my lower pack and stomach and also incredibly tierd.
