Does a verbally abusive man ever change?

Its not impossible, but he has to really want to change. The way he is treating you is so wrong, that's not love. Try work it out by going to counseling. But if he clearly is not going to change you do need to leave him. The way he s treating you is not okay. He also needs to stop the drugs, not just for you, but for himself too. He will change if he truly wants to.
