Clear braces or silver for an adult?

I'm a 31 year old male, would clear braces be more preferable and what are the pros and cons to clear versus silver. The silver will look silly I think and the clear would look more aesthetic even though they are a little more per arch. Has anyone had dealings with the clear/ ceramic braces?
