Fear of the dentist?!?!?

This might sound silly but I'm horrified of the dentist. When I was little i LOVED the dentist but than I got cavities I think that's how you spell it and they didn't give me the shot to numb my mouth and the dentist messed up and poked me with something and my tongue bled. I honestly don't remember having that numb feeling at all and it hurt alot when I got poked. Also 2 years ago for some reason the toothpaste really started to make me sick. After I get back from the dentist my stomach is in serious pain for the rest of the day. I always throw up maybe 3 times or more. Everyone else doesn't do that but me. How do I get over the fear? BTW i'm going tomorrw at 9:00 AM :(
