Do Lighter Skin Blacks feel more superior than darker skin Blacks?

I have seen some especially with lighter skin black(Bi-Racial) women that act superior than darker skin blacks. This light skin black girl I once worked with told me she only dates light skin black men and wants her kids to be light skin. Light skin black men don't give this off as much. From my personal experiences though I have noticed rather its intentional or not many lighter skin blacks do love all the extra attention they get from the darker counterparts and some do give off the inferior attitude from my dealings with them.
