Facebook Blackberry notifications!?

Hi, I've installed Facebook onto my Blackberry (which I've done before & this never happened) & it's telling me I've got 5 notifications when I haven't! I've tried rebooting & unstalling & re-installing it but that hasn't worked. I've also checked that the option for getting notifications is unticked as I only use the app for uploading photos & 'checking in' has anyone had this problem & know how to solve it? Thanks in advance! No silly comments like get an iPhone :/
