Can a minor get a copyright in Ohio?

At the copyright offices website it says"Minors may claim copyright, and the Copyright Office issues registrations to minors, but state laws may regulate the business dealings involving copyrights owned by minors. For information on relevant state laws, consult an attorney. " It says something (as you may noticed) about state laws. So looking at that I'm wondering if I ( a minor) could get a copyright in the state of Ohio.
