Can You Shrink An Adidas Hoodie?

Ok, so i bought this Adidas Hoodie a while back when i was heavier. Needless to say i lost around 20lbs and i need this to go from an L to a medium. I bought it on ebay since it hasn't been available in stores for quite sometime and haven't worn it yet but want to now. It's a black & metallic gold Trefoil Hoodie and states the following: Machine Wash Cold, Line Dry, Do Not Dryclean, Wash Inside Out, Do Not Iron Motif... Normally that all would mean less than crap to me but the motif does appear quite fragile... is there any way for me to go about shrinking this sweatshirt?
