What kind of marker for black shirt?

I have a shirt that's black. I want to write on it with a metallic sharpie, but I read that sharpie will only stay in through the first 2 or 3 washes. What kind of marker can I use? I can't use the iron on paper, because the shirt already has something on it, and I just wanted to add to it. Please Help!
